Seville (EFE).- The Investigating Court number 18 of Seville has initiated the prosecution of the actress María León for the crimes of attacking authority and injuring a police officer during events that occurred on October 1 of last year when she was arrested by the Local Police of Seville, as reported to EFE by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).
The judge believes that there are indications of the commission of these crimes after the account of the facts included in the report of the Local Police and the statement of the agents during the judicial investigation.
The events occurred in October 2022 when the Seville Local Police arrested the actress around five in the morning for allegedly punching a Local Police officer, something that the accused has denied during this process.
According to the police report, a cyclist was seen circulating on public roads with a crystal glass and was intercepted after which they performed a breathalyzer test that yielded a positive result.
It was at that moment that ten or twelve people began to yell at the agents and scold them, and among the members of the group was the actress, who recorded with her mobile phone “the moment of that test, for which the Police called her the attention”.
María León did not have an ID
The police report explains that at that moment “the investigated person addressed the policeman saying, silly, what are you, the sheriff?”, for which the DNI was requested to identify her “for a sanction for administrative infraction”, although the actress did not He was carrying the document and the agents urged him to go to the police station in a patrol car.
The police version is that at that moment several people from the group surrounded the patrol car and one of them opened one of the doors, at which point León wanted to get out of the car, something that an agent wanted to prevent, who, according to the report , was beaten by the actress, who was arrested.
The court that has charged the actress also filed the complaint that María León filed against the agents who acted in her identification and arrest.
