Palma, June 19 (EFE).- The PP and Vox have reached an agreement for the constitution this Tuesday of the Balearic Parliament Board according to which Santiago Abascal’s party will appoint the president of the Chamber and the popular will have the first vice presidency and a secretariat, which brings closer an agreement for the investiture of Marga Prohens.
The two parties have jointly communicated an agreement that, they say, is limited to the governing body of the Parliament and leaves open the dialogue with a view to the inauguration of the PP candidate as president of the Government, which requires at least the abstention of Vox .
The negotiators, who have not reported which of the eight Vox deputies will occupy the presidency, have signed a programmatic preliminary agreement to “change the policies in the last two legislatures” and provide the Balearic Islands with “a stable government.”
Vox sources have stressed to Efe that they maintain their intention to enter that new Government and from the PP they have stressed that the agreement reached this Monday is limited to the Parliamentary Table and to establish a series of policies in which the two parties have common approaches.
