Las Palmas De Gran Canaria (EFE).- The Salvamar Al Nair plans to disembark at 9:45 a.m. in Arrecife a new expedition of immigrants that it has rescued in the early hours of this Sunday in the north of Fuerteventura, as reported to EFE by a spokesperson for public business entity.
Around 7:00 a.m., 112 contacted the Maritime Rescue center in Las Palmas and reported that they had received a call from a small boat that was sailing 6 kilometers north of Fuerteventura.
The controllers mobilized the Helimer 205 and the Salvamar Al Nair, whose crew was able to rescue the 55 people on board around 09:00: 41 men, 12 women and two minors, all sub-Saharan Africans, who are expected to disembark shortly at the Dock of La Cebolla in the capital of Lanzarote. EFE
