Moscow (EFE).- Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) today announced the holding of local elections next September 10 in the four Ukrainian regions annexed amid war and martial law, at the request of the authorities imposed by the Kremlin in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporiyia and Jershon.
“Elections in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be held in a single voting day on September 10, 2023. This decision was made today by the CEC of Russia,” said the institution led by Ela Pamfílova.
