Kiev (EFE).- Russian forces have again attacked this morning with drones and missiles the Ukrainian cities of Odesa, on the Black Sea, and Krivi Rig, located some 400 kilometers southeast of Kiev, as well as Kharkiv, in the northeast of the country.
The Ukrainian military authorities have assured that the 20 launched drones were shot down and that one of the cruise missiles fired could be intercepted.
According to the report released this Thursday by the Ukrainian Air Force, one of the devices hit two industrial infrastructures of Krivi Rig, causing serious damage and injuring one person.
Russia already attacked Krivi Rig early Tuesday, when several missiles hit industrial and residential buildings, killing 12 people.
In Odessa. Thirteen of the intercepted drones were shot down over the city, where 3 people were also killed yesterday in a Russian missile attack that destroyed more than twenty buildings.
The remaining seven aircraft, known as the Shahed, intercepted over Krivi Rig and Kharkiv.
Since the start of the war, Russia has launched more than a thousand Iranian-made Shahed drones against Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
Russia denounces another drone attack against Crimea
For its part, Russia has denounced another drone attack, which would be the ninth, against the annexed Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, although it has assured that all were shot down or blocked by means of electronic warfare.
“During this night and in the morning, nine unmanned vehicles were registered on the territory of the Republic of Crimea,” said the governor of the peninsula, Sergei Axiónov.
In his Telegram channel, he assured that the air defense forces shot down six of them, while the remaining three were blocked by electronic warfare.
Since the destruction last October of the iconic Kerch bridge, which connects Crimea with Russia, the peninsula has been the target of frequent drone and missile attacks.
One of the main targets is the base of the Black Sea Fleet in the city of Sevastopol, which has strengthened its protection by land, sea and air.
