Madrid, Jun 15 (EFE).- PP and Vox have agreed this Thursday that they keep their hands outstretched to reach an agreement in Murcia, despite yesterday’s clash when excluding the former from the regional Parliament Board, while they have entered into work in the Valencian Community with the distribution of areas and the government program.
Both formations have made public, on the one hand, that the bullfighter and member of Vox Vicente Barrera will be first vice president and Minister of Culture in the Valencian Government that will be headed by the popular Carlos Mazón, in which Vox will also assume the powers of the Departments of Agriculture and Justice, Interior and Governance.
Vicente Barrera Simó (Valencia, 1968), professionally retired from bullfighting twelve years ago, has been one of the most successful Valencian bullfighters of recent times and one of the latest, as his family tried to curb that passion until he practically completed his Right’s studies.
On the other hand, in just two meetings of the negotiating team created by both parties after they reached an agreement on Tuesday to form a coalition government, PP and Vox have signed a seven-page document with 50 programmatic points to provide the Valencian Community of a “stable and strong” government.
A document in which no reference is made to sexist violence, but rather talks about promoting measures to eradicate “intra-family violence, especially those suffered by women and children, guaranteeing equality among all victims.”
Less than 40 days before the general elections on July 23, the pact in the Valencian Community has served the PP to proclaim, through its deputy secretary of Territorial Organization, Miguel Tellado, that if Carlos Mazón “has been forced to sign a government agreement with Vox is because the Socialist Party has forced it to do so.
From the PSOE, the Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, has taken the opportunity to charge against the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo: “Mr. Feijóo lied to us, he told us that he would not allow Vox to govern in the autonomous communities and town halls, he lied to us “, has declared.
LENDING HANDS IN MURCIA
Núñez Feijóo has also been referred to by the president of Vox in Murcia, José Angel Antelo, who has accused the president of the PP of vetoing the negotiations between the two formations in the region and using it “as a testing ground” by marking distances.
“This cannot be done in other communities with the possibility of agreements between Vox and the PP such as Valencia, the Balearic Islands or Extremadura, because there is a risk that the left could achieve more representation in a second electoral round,” said Antelo, who in In any case, he has recognized that it is not the purpose of his party to reach an electoral repetition because “from the first day, a hand has been extended to the PP to form an alternative and it continues to be so.”
In the same conciliatory tone after yesterday’s storm, the spokesman for the PP parliamentary group in the newly constituted Murcia Regional Assembly, Joaquín Segado, has assured that his formation is willing to promote “as many calls and meetings” as are necessary with Vox to unlock the investiture of Fernando López Miras before the general campaign, which starts on July 7.
In statements to the SER chain collected by EFE, Segado has underlined the interest of his group in negotiating the abstention that is needed from the Vox deputies, since the PP was two seats away from the absolute majority, and he has trusted that “ nobody considers a blockade that prevents the formation, as soon as possible, of the government”.
In this regard, the spokesman for the acting regional Executive, Marcos Ortuño, has made a precision, who has reiterated the intention of the PP to form a government alone, without integrating Vox.
“I would like to highlight one thing, so that it is very clear: we do not need anyone’s votes, we need there to be no blockade. If there is no blockade, the Region of Murcia will have a government that creates opportunities ”, he remarked.
MADRID, ONE WEEK AWAY FROM INVESTING AYUSO
While in Aragon, the Balearic Islands and Extremadura there are no known advances that predict a quick solution to the formation of governments, in Madrid the newly elected president of the regional Assembly, Enrique Ossorio (PP), has proposed this Thursday Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP) as a candidate to preside over the Community.
It will be at the investiture plenary session that will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, on the 21st and 22nd, and Ayuso will have a comfortable majority of votes in favour: those of the 70 PP deputies and the 11 of Vox, who has already advanced their support for the popular candidate.
