Jaén, (EFE).- The National Police agent admitted to the Jaén Neurotraumatological Hospital after being injured last Sunday in Andújar, during an altercation in which another National Police agent and his assailant, armed with a hammer and a knife, has received a medical discharge this Thursday.

One projectile, two victims
The first investigations indicated that the same projectile killed the two fatalities in Andújar. And the hypothesis is being considered that at the moment the attacker pounced on the agent, he fell to the ground. And during his fall the attacker was shot. The same bullet hit the deceased agent, a 40-year-old policeman and a resident of Marmolejo (Jaén).
The agent who has been discharged has remained hospitalized to recover from the stab wound that he presented in the back and from the blows he received to the head with a hammer. EFE
