In a statement, its Observatory against Domestic and Gender Violence warns that between January and March the main indicators of sexist violence not only rose compared to last year, but also compared to the previous quarter: 4% victims and 2 7% complaints.
14,886 sentences were handed down and eight out of ten were convictions. The protection orders granted by the duty courts and those for violence against women increased by 6.6% compared to the first quarter of 2022. EFE
