The head of the region’s military administration, Serhiy Lysak, said through his Telegram channel that the Russians had “perpetrated another terrorist act against residential areas. All night long. Cruel. There are dead and wounded.”
Lysak urged the population not to ignore the air sirens because the situation is “still very dangerous.”
Early reports indicate at least three people have been killed and 25 injured.
“The apartments from the first to the fifth floor are on fire. The fire has covered 700 square meters. The rescuers are turning it off,” said Lysak, quoted by the Ukrinform news agency, which has also reported three other deaths in a private company that was hit by the missiles.

According to the Ukrinform agency, a Russian high-precision missile hit an apartment block and an unknown number of residents remain in the rubble.
Kryvyi Rhi, with 635,000 inhabitants and located about 440 kilometers south of kyiv, is the hometown of Ukrainian President Voldomir Zelensky.
The Ukrainian president has said, in a message through his social networks, that “terrorist missiles, Russian murderers continue their war against residential buildings, ordinary cities and people. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. The rescue operation in Kryvyi Rih continues.”
“My condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones! The terrorists will never be forgiven, and they will be responsible for every missile they launch,” he added.
