València (EFE).- The Compromís candidate for the Generalitat in the 28M elections and elected deputy of Les Corts Valencianes, Joan Baldoví, has assured that this Tuesday is “a very sad day for Valencian democracy”, after the beginning of government agreement reached between the PP and Vox.
In a message posted on Twitter, Baldoví pointed out that the PP and Vox have announced a government “that attacks women, public services, our language, LGTBI people and the environment.”

Likewise, he has affirmed that from Compromís they will work “without rest to make the best opposition against the worst government.”
The PP and Vox have reached a “firm” agreement in principle on Tuesday to set up a coalition government in the Valencian Community, which will be chaired by the popular Carlos Mazón and in which Vox will have a “decisive participation” and will also occupy the presidency of Parliament Valencian.
This has been agreed after a two and a half hour meeting between the PP, the party that won the regional elections, and Vox, whose 13 deputies are decisive for the popular ones to reach an absolute majority in Les Corts.
In the absence of specifying how many Ministries each party will have -the PP has only advanced that there will be fewer portfolios and fewer senior positions than now-, it has been agreed that in the Les Corts Vox Board it will have the presidency and the PP the vice presidency and the secretariat first.EFE
