Valencia (EFE) the investiture have responded that they will speak with all the parties.
This is what Joan Baldoví explained after the meeting he held this Monday for an hour together with his colleagues from Compromís Aitana Mas, Vicent Marzà and Maria Josep Picó with the president of the PPCV, Carlos Mazón, the deputy secretary of Organization, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca , and the campaign director, Miguel Barrachina, to discuss the investiture.
The PP has delivered to Compromís, as it did last Thursday with the PSPV-PSOE when starting the round of contacts with the parties, a document with 30 coincidences between the electoral programs, such as regional financing, the Cercanías or water, and has regretted that they are not “sufficient” for Compromís to facilitate the investiture, although he hopes that they will be “meeting points” during the legislature.
Compromís sees it as “impossible” for the PP to govern alone
Baldoví has transmitted to Mazón that his goal of governing alone “is impossible” and has explained that they will not refrain from the investiture of the popular party because that party seeks a “free investiture” to later agree with Vox on all the policies that affect the 5 millions of Valencians, and they are not willing to do so.
“PP and Vox are the obverse and the reverse of the same coin”, asserted Baldoví, who predicted that the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will end up “blessing” the agreement between these two parties in the Valencian Community, as has Made in Extremadura.
Pérez Llorca has not wanted to make “speculations” about the “possibilities” of agreeing with Vox, whose 13 deputies added to the 40 of the PP represent the absolute majority of Les Corts; He has asked to wait for the meeting that they will hold this Tuesday with that formation, and has assured that they have not “vetoed anyone” from that party, to which they will also present a document on programmatic coincidences.
The PP of Mazón will modify a law and repeal others
Compromís has asked at the meeting if the PP plans to repeal the Botànic legislation and they have been informed that they will repeal the tourist tax “immediately”, while in other regulations they will apply modifications, such as the language requirement, so that in certain health oppositions they do not score more than some masters.
The PP is “a reformist party and therefore we assume everything that is well done by others, even if we disagree ideologically with the substance of the rules”, explained Barrachina, who has assured that the objective of his party is not “to repeal or eliminate anything that it may be working, but to improve and reform everything”.
Compromís has also asked what will happen to the health reversals -in six months the deadline for the Dénia hospital ends- and they have received a “total lack of definition” as a response, lamented Baldoví, who has advanced that they will make a “firm” opposition and useful to the interests of the Valencians.
The Table of Courts
There has also been talk of the composition of the Mesa de Les Corts, on which the PP has reiterated that it wants the four groups of the Chamber to be represented, for which the two majority parties have to make transfers (the PP corresponds to three positions and the PSPV the other two).
Compromís has affirmed that the PSPV has to decide if it wants to “leave out” of that government body the third group of the chamber, which with 15 deputies has “sufficient” representation to be there, and has considered that Vox should not be at the Table , because “it does not represent democratic interests.”
The PP has insisted that they do not make a “sanitary cordon for anyone” at the Mesa and that now the “ball” is in the PSPV’s roof, which they are asking to cede one of its two positions to Compromís.
Investiture of Mazón soon and exemplary transfer of powers
The PP has insisted that it wants the investiture of Mazón to be “soon”, in order to start governing, while the acting vice-president of the Council, Aitana Mas, has reported that, at least for the four Compromís ministers, the transfer of powers will be “exemplary and model”, not like the one they received, he explained, in 2015 from the PP.
