Madrid (EFE).- The cost per hour worked increased by 4.3% in the first quarter compared to the same period of the previous year, the highest increase for this indicator since the second quarter of 2020.
According to the harmonized labor cost index (ICLA) published this Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), with this increase, which reflects both wage increases and the rest of labor costs, six quarters have risen.
If seasonal and calendar effects are removed, the annual increase in cost per hour is 4.1%.
