Bilbao (EFE).- Normality, together with nervousness among students, has marked the first day of the university entrance exams in Euskadi, the selectivity, which will last until next Friday, June 8.
A total of 12,895 Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (FP) students, in addition to 506 students from previous courses who take specific subjects to raise their grades, have registered to take these exams.
The tests are held in 39 courts distributed over the three campuses of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
Of the total, 1,824 students take the exam on the Álava Campus, 6,350 on the Bizkaia Campus and 4,631 on the Gipuzkoa Campus, plus 90 students who have not been assigned a campus.
Regarding the language, 75.21% of the students (9,698 students) have chosen Basque and 24.79% (3,197) Spanish.

Cutting notes
The results will be published on June 15 and as a novelty this year the students will receive an email with their grades and with the explanation of the procedures for reviewing exercises or requesting to see the exam.
The marks obtained, in weight with the results of Bachelor or FP, will decide in a great majority of cases if the applicant can pursue the desired studies.
At the UPV/EHU alone, the only public university in the Basque Country, there are 19 undergraduate studies with a cut-off grade of more than 12 points, out of a total of 14.
Last year, the double degree in Physics and Electronic Engineering headed the list, with a cut-off score of 13,200, followed by Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with 12,956 and Medicine with 12,853 points. EFE
