Madrid (EFE).- Thirteen autonomous communities are on alert this Monday for rains of up to 40 liters per square meter in one hour and storms with the possibility of hail, especially Castilla-La Mancha and the Valencian Community, which are in orange due to risk important weather.
In addition to the above, the following communities will also be on alert this Monday, although in yellow, from 12 noon, also due to rain, storms and possible hail: Andalucía, Aragón, Asturias, Baleares, Cantabria, Castilla and León, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid and La Rioja.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the rains will accumulate 30 liters per square meter in one hour, especially in Albacete and Cuenca, although it will also rain heavily in Guadalajara and Toledo, with accumulations of 15 liters per square meter in one hour, according to the State Meteorological Agency. Heavy rainfall in the Valencian Community
In the Valencian Community, in the interior of Valencia, 40 liters per square meter are expected to be collected in one hour and heavy rainfall is also expected in the interior of Alicante and Castellón with a probability of hail.
In Madrid the rains will be 15 liters per square meter throughout the community.
In Catalonia, the rains will accumulate up to 20 liters per square meter in one hour with a probability of hail in the interior of the entire community except in the province of Tarragona.
In Andalusia, rainfall of 15 liters per square meter is expected in one hour in the interior of Córdoba, Granada and Jaén.
In Aragon, rains of 20 liters per square meter will be collected in one hour with a probability of hail throughout the community.
In Asturias, the rains will accumulate 15 liters per square meter in the interior of the region and also in Cantabria, and in Galicia, in the provinces of Lugo and Orense.
In the Balearic Islands, rainfall of 20 liters per square meter is expected in Mallorca and also in La Rioja.
In Castilla y León, 20 liters per square meter will be collected in one hour throughout the region during the second part of the day, as in Extremadura, in the province of Cáceres.
