“Sánchez has admitted his defeat by hastily calling elections,” Guasp opined about the municipal and regional elections held this Sunday that, in his opinion, were understood “as a plebiscite” on his management of government, which has favored the PP.
Regarding the result of Ciudadanos, Vázquez has indicated that they are “very proud of the work” done, although they have lost almost all the municipal representation and in the autonomous parliaments that they had, and he has attributed it to the growing political polarization in Spain, which makes For this reason, a liberal center party has to be “rowing against all odds”.
