Palma, May 29 (EFE).- The Ciudadanos candidate for the presidency of the Balearic Government and national spokesperson for the party, Patricia Guasp, has expressed her disappointment and sadness at the poor results of her organization. “I still believe that the Balearic Islands and the Spanish deserve a central party,” she pointed out.
Guasp has congratulated the PP for the results it has obtained in the archipelago, although he has lamented “the rise of the ultra-right” and has warned against alliances between the popular and Vox.
In an appearance in which he referred to a press conference this Monday in Madrid to analyze the data for the whole of Spain, he argued that the almost disappearance of Ciudadanos from the institutions is a negative result because “the change had to come from the center ” and the left-right dichotomy has been accentuated.
“I do not back away from anything we have done during these four years,” Guasp has stressed, who promises to continue working to “widen and strengthen the liberal center.”
