Santa Cruz de Tenerife (EFE).- The PP candidate for the presidency of the Canary Islands, Manuel Domínguez, has valued the result of his party on 28M, as a “second force” in “the regional sphere”, and on the possible formation of pacts has waited for other formations to “pronounce” because “there are other numbers that could also give.”
Domínguez has emphasized that the PP has managed to be the second force in number of votes in the autonomous constituency, “at a distance” from CC, “with which”, he said, “Canarias has put on the table what was its will that the PP was ruling” on the islands after these regional elections.
He has abounded that “the numbers are on the table” and that “they show what the situation is.”
From there, the leader of the PP in the Canary Islands continued, “let’s see if the call that the citizens have made to change this flower pact, which has withered, is achieved and shaped as soon as possible.”
Asked if the PP will agree with the CC to form the future Government of the Canary Islands, Domínguez replied: “it is a day to congratulate the auditors and attorneys” and in the coming days “begin to see what are the possibilities of agreement that may exist and also expect the rest of the formations to pronounce themselves, because “there are other numbers that could also give”.
Manuel Domínguez has proclaimed that for him personally and for his party this is “a great day” because “nobody is aware that we have not gone through the best moments in recent years and yet we have been able to meet the objective in record time ”.EFE
