Madrid.- The PP has emerged as the clear winner of the municipal and regional elections of this 28M and is leading an electoral turnaround against a PSOE that already speaks of the need to make a “reflection” in the face of the general elections.
The person in charge of reacting to the electoral result has been the spokesperson for the Federal Executive of the PSOE and Minister of Education, Pilar Alegría, who has advocated making a “reflection for the coming months” after this defeat, and has assumed that they must ” strive” to achieve “confidence” in the generals.
“We are not going to hide the fact that we aspired to forge majorities of progress thanks to the mobilization of the progressive electorate, which obviously has not occurred. But the will of the citizens is clear and the PSOE assumes that we must do things better, try harder to achieve that confidence in the next elections, ”he declared in an intervention at the party headquarters in Ferraz without questions.
