regional elections
- The 99 deputies who will make up Les Corts Valencianes of the eleventh legislature are elected: 40 from the province of Valencia, 35 from the province of Alicante and 24 from the province of Valencia.
- The electorate of Valencia and Alicante will be able to choose between 16 candidacies presented, respectively, and that of Castellón between 24.
- Electoral census: it is made up of 3,731,984 people, including 125,708 Valencians living abroad.
- New voters: 166,230 people who have reached the age of majority since the previous regional elections.
Municipal elections
- 5,764 councilors are elected (2,980 in the province of Valencia, 1,691 in Alicante and 1,093 in Castellón) from the 542 municipalities of the Region and from seven local entities, from which the next mayors will emerge.
- In the three provincial capitals, you can choose between 15 lists in the city of Valencia, between 12 in Alicante and between 11 in Castellón.
- The votes in the municipal elections will decide the composition of the Provincial Councils, whose members are elected indirectly (31 deputies in Valencia and Alicante and 24 in Castellón).
- The electoral census is made up of 3,680,268 people, including 73,992 foreigners with the right to vote.
- New voters: 186,871 since the municipal elections four years ago.
- 6,169 polling stations (3,200 in Valencia, 2,228 in Alicante and 741 in Castellón).
- 2,178 polling stations (1,127 in Valencia, 707 in Alicante and 344 in Castellón).
- 3,507 electoral sections (1,827 in Valencia, 1,236 in Alicante and 444 in Castellón).
- 767 electoral districts (359 in Valencia, 232 in Alicante and 176 in Castellón).
- 2,903 representatives of the administration who will transmit the data with tablets or by phone.
- 16,256 ballot boxes (10,000 in Valencia, 4,456 in Alicante and 1,800 in Castellón)
- 6,169 voting booths (3,200 in Valencia, 2,228 in Alicante and 741 in Castellón)
- 66.4 million ballots for the regional elections. The printing and distribution of the ballots for the municipal elections corresponds to the Town Halls, except for those of Valencia, where there will be 9.5 million ballots.
- Cost of the electoral device assumed by the Government Delegation in the Valencian Community: 4.9 million euros.
Security
- A total of 10,027 agents will ensure the security of these elections: 3,387 from the National Police, 4,885 from the Civil Guard, 8,272 from the State Security Forces and Corps, and 1,755 Local Police.
- In the province of Valencia, the police device is made up of 4,697 agents, in Alicante there are 3,929 and in Castellón there are 1,401.
Calendar
- The counting of votes will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the polling stations, first for the ballot papers for the local elections and then for those for the regional elections.
- The general scrutiny, in which the votes of the absent residents are counted, will be carried out by the Electoral Boards between June 2 and 5, which, once the appeals that may be presented have been resolved, will proclaim those elected between June 6 and June 14th.
- The new Town Halls will be constituted on June 17, unless an appeal is filed against the proclamation of elected councilors, in which case it will be held on July 7.
- The Valencian Courts of the eleventh legislature, resulting from these regional elections, will be constituted on Monday, June 26 at 10.30 a.m. in the Palau dels Borja.
- With regard to the Provincial Councils: after the constitution of the City Councils, the Electoral Board assigns the positions to the parties; five days later he proclaims the elected deputies, and after five days the Provincial Councils are constituted.
