Barcelona, May 28 (EFE).- Marc-André ter Stegen, Barcelona’s German goalkeeper, admitted that this Sunday was “a sad” and “hard” day for him both because of the farewell to two teammates to whom he feels very close such as Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets as for having played their last game at the Nou Camp before the comprehensive reform works begin tomorrow.
“It is a sad day because it will not be seen like this again, it has been many years and when you play many games here it is like your home”, he explained to Dazn in reference to the Barcelona stadium that today played its last game with its current configuration.
He also remembered Busquets and Jordi Alba: “There have been many very beautiful moments that we have shared and saying goodbye to two colleagues who are so important in my career hurts, I wish them the best for them and their families and it is very hard”, added the international German.
