The measure is part of the royal decree-law approved this Thursday to deal with the effects of climate change and establishes the specific obligation to provide adequate measures for the protection of workers in the face of extreme temperatures.
As explained after the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, “the conditions” in this matter are made “stricter” with the prohibition of certain tasks in these circumstances of extreme heat when there is a risk to health.
