María Pérez I Málaga, (EFE).- Doctor of Medicine Lola Aparicio, an expert in the process that humans experience when they die, affirms that one must “surrender” to death when the time comes and not “oppose resistance” to ” avoid suffering” during transit.
In an interview with EFE, Aparicio points out that people are unaware of the phases that the mind goes through in the moments before transcending “to the other side” and, sometimes, they are “hindered” and “blocked” when trying to “stop” them when, once they start, it is “inevitable” that they happen.
In his first book, “The end is the beginning” (Ediciones Luciérnaga), he develops, through more than 40 real cases, the state of trance and its stages with the aim of stopping considering death as something “taboo” or the “great enemy” and serve as a help to those who accompany someone during their last moments.
“The only sure thing is that we are born and we die,” the doctor forcefully maintains, who defends venerating the “magical moment” that is the end of life and experiencing it with full awareness and fullness.
Patience and data
Aparicio, who has been practicing medicine since 1986, decided to write this book to “disclose” the material, both his own and that of other colleagues, that he has compiled during his years of profession, since among the scientific community “it is known”, but the general public does not easily “have access” to it.
This expert in Clinical Hypnosis and Legal and Forensic Medicine admits that this volume is not built “overnight”, since patience is required to obtain cases and sufficient data to develop the “internal preparation” that human beings carry out in his last stage.
“It takes a while to pay attention to what patients are saying, how they feel or what they see. I began to open my ears and my mind and to wonder if behind all this experience there is something deeper”, confesses the doctor.
For the author, one of the most impressive experiences narrated in the pages of the book is that of “La Córdoba”, a woman who helped her neighbor “transition” when she was on the verge of death.
Aparicio recounts how one day the daughter of the patient heard her mother speak “alone” in the room and when she entered she realized that she was not the only person there, “La Córdoba” was also there. The daughter asked, “Mom, are you talking to the neighbor?” To which her mother replied: “Do you see her too?”
Four phases in the dying process
According to the doctor, cases like this are special because “witnesses” are created, healthy individuals who are not conditioned to the psychic development experienced by someone who is going to die and, furthermore, it is shown that the mourners are conscious on both “planes” simultaneously.
“During the process of dying, the consciousness of the body is transferred from this plane to another and this is identified because the patients begin to feel, say or see different things than when they were not in transit”, he comments.
The death process, the doctor points out, consists of four phases: notices, calls, visits and farewell. They can all occur on their own or appear as the transit progresses. In addition, they manifest through intuitions, dreams, calls to deceased beings or apparitions.
“That other plane is where we came from when we arrived in the world, and to that plane we return when we leave. It is the place that those who have had a near-death experience (NDE) describe,” explains Aparicio.
For those who wonder what happens with sudden or unexpected deaths, the doctor answers that, as in NDEs, there is “a compressed transit”.
Nothing to prepare before death
“They also go through the phases, although in a tight way, they usually have a life review or meet deceased people who, on occasions, are the ones who tell them that it is not their time yet and they must return.”
According to the doctor, many of the people who have returned from one of these experiences carry with them some psychic ability that is achieved by passing through the other plane.
“They don’t come back the same, they lose their fear of death, they get gifts, precognitions and even telepathy. They can get to see the auras of the people who are around them”, says the expert, who in her role as a communicator has participated in programs such as “Mira la vida” or “Cuarto Milenio”.
Aparicio concludes that there is nothing to “prepare” you for death. “There is a moment in which there is no turning back, it arrives and all that remains is to let it flow and trust.” EFE
