Bogotá (EFE).- The Libertadores and Sudamericana cups, which run simultaneously in the group phase, reached the equator last week in that instance with a superlative balance for 5 Argentine teams and as many Brazilians as leaders of their respective zones.

Copa Libertadores: Fluminense thrashes and hits rock bottom
Fluminense, installed at the top of group D, is the only team in the Copa Libertadores that has won everything it has played. Nine out of nine for 100 percent performance.

Newell’s Old Boys from the city of Rosario and Fortaleza, in the northeastern region of Brazil, are the teams with the best harvest so far in the Copa Sudamericana.
Newell’s leads group G with victories over Audax Italiano (0-1), Blooming (3-0) and Santos (1-0).
Fortaleza rules in H with its 4-0 win over Palestino, the 0-2 victory over San Lorenzo and the 6-1 beating of Estudiantes de Merida.
On the contrary, of the eight groups of the Copa Sudamericana, the most balanced of all so far is group B, in which Huracán Danubio, Emelec and Guarani form in that order with identical 4 points.
