Madrid (EFE).- More than 6,300 people appear simultaneously this Saturday for the entrance exams for the Renfe commercial operator position in four calls distributed between Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and León, for a total of 500 vacancies, and with majority of women -58% of the total of 3,632- in this edition.
The test, as explained by the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), the Madrid headquarters of the exam, has two parts: a theoretical one, with a syllabus that includes railway concepts and notions, the equality plan and safety conditions and Renfe regulations, and another psychotechnic, which is carried out after this test.
The court is made up of three representatives of the company and also other members of the unions with the greatest participation in Renfe, he indicated.
Of the 500 places called, 70 are for Catalonia and 430 for the rest of the State, Renfe details in a press release, in which it indicates that in 2023 the public offer of employment will incorporate a total of 1,250 new workers to the workforce: the 500 commercial operators of this call, 450 input machinists and 300 manufacturing and maintenance input operators.
In Madrid, almost 2,800 people have shown up, Eva Dehesa, manager of the Labor Relations area of the Renfe group and member of the evaluation panel, told Efe, who was happy with the registration data.
Dehesa has celebrated the total number of women who have presented themselves today, a figure that consolidates the increase of this group in different positions in the company.
