Vitoria, (EFE).- The Amairu Bat society from Vitoria has won the gastronomic contest for the San Prudencio festivities by preparing the best typical Alava dishes, potatoes with cod and scrambled eggs with perretxikos.
After the hangover from the days of the retreat, tamborrada and San Prudencio, this Saturday of Álava festivities has been the turn of the flavors and smells of the gastronomic, wine and sample competitions of the Cuadrillas.
This edition the participation has been smaller, perhaps due to the change of dates with respect to past years.
There have been ten competing companies in the Plaza de la Provincia.
They had to prepare two typical Alava dishes: potatoes with cod and scrambled eggs with perretxikos.
