Jaén, (EFE).- A two-year-old girl has died and two other women, aged 43 and 73, have been injured after being hit by a car in the municipality of Alcaudete (Jaén), as reported by Emergencias 112 Andalucía.
The accident took place yesterday around 8:15 p.m., when 112 received the notice that a car had run over several people on the Camino de Belén.
The girl died on the way to Jaén
The same sources have indicated that the hit-and-run could be due to glare from the sun that prevented the driver from seeing the family that was crossing the street.
Immediately, the coordinating center activated the Health Emergency Center (CES) 061 and the Local Police.
Health and police sources confirm that, as a result of the event, the minor of almost two years of age died when she was transferred to the hospital in Jaén.
In addition, 061 has evacuated the two women, aged 43 and 73, to the Alcaudete High Resolution Center.
