Ibiza, Apr 10 (EFE).- The Spanish women’s soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, has assured that he is creating “an attractive team” in terms of the game, “very cohesive and with players involved.”
These characteristics, he said this Monday at a press conference prior to the friendly against China that will take place this Tuesday at the Palladium Can Misses stadium in Ibiza, will help to get “more followers and more fans.”
Vilda has pointed out that the match against the Chinese team should serve to put “the icing on the cake for good concentration”, not only in terms of atmosphere or group cohesion, but also at a football level, and “reaffirm” the good feelings of the match against Norway (4-2).
“We want to finish in the best way,” insisted the coach, who has advanced that there will be one more friendly before the World Cup.
The striker Esther González has acknowledged that the match against Norway was “very good”, but she agreed with Vilda when pointing out that the objective is to finish the concentration “with good feelings”.
For González, the match against the Nordics showed that the national team is an “ambitious” team.
Of her rival on Tuesday, the Real Madrid player has indicated that she is an “ordered team” and that she has speed through the pass, something that will require the Reds to keep the “line together”.
Even so, he stressed that the Spanish players not only have control of the game with the pass but are also “vertical”, so they will try to ensure that their rivals “do not play too much”.
In this Tuesday’s match against China, the RFEF will inaugurate box zero at the Palladium Can Misses stadium so that people with autism can enjoy the match with their families.
