Despite the fact that tomorrow is a holiday in six autonomous communities -Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, Navarra, the Basque Country and La Rioja-, many drivers are returning to their places of origin.
At around 12:30 p.m. there were already traffic problems, in addition to those entrances to Madrid, on the A-3 in Valencia in Chiva and on the AP-7 in Loriguilla and Quart del Poblet.
Meanwhile, in Alicante the main difficulties affected the A-31 in Villena, in the Albacete direction, and the A-4 in Jaén at the height of La Carolina towards Madrid.
In Seville, and in the direction of the Seville capital, the traffic jams were concentrated in Cabezas de San Juan on the A-4, and in Toledo the A-5 was the road most affected with very slow traffic in several sections: Oropesa, Talavera of the Queen and Valmojado.
Already in the north, the A-8 suffered retentions in Torrelavega (Cantabria) towards Palencia.
Until 8:00 p.m. yesterday, Saturday, and since the beginning of the special Easter Week device (3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31), 24 people have died on the roads. Last year throughout this holiday period, 27 people lost their lives.
