Chicago (USA) (EFE).- The Spanish Jon Rahm survived this Saturday the heavy rain that falls in Augusta and completed the second interrupted on Friday with a three under par that allows him to stay two shots behind the leader Brooks Koepka in the Masters.
Rahm had to leave the competition Friday on the ninth hole because of strong wind and rain that caused three trees to fall at Augusta National.
The Spaniard competed early this Saturday morning in very difficult conditions and, despite some ‘bogeys’ on the sixteenth and eighteenth holes, saved a three under par that places him second with a total of -10.
Despite the difficulties, Rahm considered that it was “fun” to go out and compete this morning and showed his confidence ahead of the last two rounds.
Also ending his round was Tiger Woods, five-time Masters champion, who made the cut for the twenty-third consecutive time.
He has a cumulative three over par, but that was enough to equal a record held by Fred Couples and Gary Player.
The third lap will be held in the American afternoon, heavy rain permitting.
