Valladolid (EFE).- José Rojo ‘Pacheta’ will not continue as coach of Real Valladolid, the Valladolid club reported in a statement on Monday after the defeat suffered yesterday at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium against Real Madrid (6-0).
The blanquivioleta entity assures that it recognizes “the important career” of the coach and the role he has played in the team since his arrival but, always “with the sole objective of achieving permanence” at the end of this season, he has chosen to continue ” in another direction.”
Zorrilla’s club describes the decision as “difficult” for all that Pacheta means, a coach with whom the team managed to return to LaLiga Santander in just one year and through direct promotion, “in a year marked by passion and the dedication, both from the coach and the team, a fact that will always be valued”.
The coach from Salas de los Infantes (Burgos) has led the Valladolid team in a total of 75 official matches, 42 of which were in the Second Division, 27 in the First Division and six of them in the Copa del Rey.
