“Positive evolution” of the fire
José María Ángel has shown his optimism because there is “a positive evolution of the fire” and has indicated that the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has convened a CECOPI coordination meeting for late morning -in which he will participate telematically – to see if a decision can be made that allows some of the people who remain outside their homes to be rehoused.
The regional secretary has explained that it has been possible to take advantage of the “window of opportunity” that the weather offered two days ago and has confirmed “the good tactics and strategy within a complexity that came not only from the forest mass but also from a very abrupt” that has “come to endanger” the firefighters.
