A Coruña (EFE) ‘Angeliño’, who currently plays for the German Hoffenheim.
The A Coruña entity, as reported by La Voz de Galicia and confirmed by EFE with club sources, sued González-Dans for alleged unfair administration and misappropriation, a complaint that is being investigated.
Deportivo feels harmed by the withdrawal of its corporate general director until 2020 to receive 448,000 euros from City for the agreement that the clubs had signed ten years ago, with Augusto César Lendoiro as president, for the transfer of Angeliño.
The entity chaired by Antonio Couceiro considers that González-Dans renounced that charge in 2020 without the authorization of the then club leader, Fernando Vidal, and without having the powers to do so.
When it incorporated Angeliño, Manchester City promised to pay a fixed amount of 200,000 euros for training rights and variables for objectives, up to a maximum of 1.1 million euros, as well as 20% of the capital gain that the British team achieved in case of selling.
The footballer reported to Dépor the initial fixed
The footballer reported to Deportivo the initial fixed and another 300,000 euros in the following years.
In July 2018, City transferred him to the Dutch PSV and informed Deportivo that they would pay him 896,000 euros for the capital gain, of which he gave half, 448,000 euros in September 2018.
The parties agreed to a second payment when PSV completed the transfer of the Galician footballer in 2019, but that year the Manchester team repurchased the winger and in that operation the amounts that the Dutch had not paid to the British were discounted.
The A Coruña club claimed the outstanding 448,000 euros, but City understood that they did not have to pay them as the PSV payment had not been completed.
González-Dans, as detected by Deportivo, issued a corrective invoice in March 2020 for 448,000 euros, which, in practice, waived that amount.
Deportivo understands that this movement by the former general manager, weeks before presenting his resignation and disassociating himself from the club, made it easier for FIFA to dismiss a claim by the entity from A Coruña before the Player’s Statute Commission for not having paid him that outstanding amount or 20%. of the subsequent sale of Angeliño to Leipzig.
