Barcelona (EFE).- The automobile company Seat closed 2022 with a profit after taxes of 68 million euros compared to the loss of 256 million in 2021, after billing 10,513 million euros, its second best figure behind 2019.
These figures appear in the results report prepared by the automobile company following Spanish accounting rules, which differ from German ones, with which the numbers made public last week from Germany by the Volkswagen Group, to which Seat belongs, were made.
According to the data from the report presented this Wednesday, Seat achieved an operating profit of 179 million euros, 550 million more before the provision of extraordinary costs of 293 million.
The firm led by Wayne Griffiths managed to return to black numbers, despite the persistence of the supply crisis and the increase in the cost of raw materials, with the promotion of its second brand, Cupra.
