Arnedo (La Rioja), Mar 19 (EFE).- The bullfighters Diego Urdiales and Andrés Roca Rey have left this Sunday on their shoulders through the front door of the Arnedo Arena, in La Rioja, on a triumphant afternoon, in which they have cut 2 and 3 ears, respectively.
6 Luis Algarra Polera bulls have been fought, just ahead; tertiates, in general; with more rennet, the fifth and sixth; nobles of behavior, the first, second and sixth; bland and with little transmission, the third; without delivery, the fourth; and rebranded and vulgar, the fifth.
Diego Urdiales: ear, ear and ovation.
Andrés Roca Rey: ear, ear after notice, and ear with strong request for the second.
The Plaza Arnedo Arena has hung the “no tickets” sign.
Urdiales, with the first, goes out to the media, with verónicas without forcing and full of taste. A peck served to justify the third of rods. Good with the Joselito Rus sticks. The bottom of Algarra’s was scarcely guessed, and only the care and delicacy of Urdiales uncovered through the two pitons what he had inside.
The temperate pulse showed the way to “Mayordomo”, a noble animal that swallowed everything gently, as an adjective of the cites. Gorgeous was the epilogue with his left foot, before leaving a book lunge. Ear.
Unable to relax in the cape, “Vacilón” warned him twice for the right to Arnedo (Urdiales). With nothing to report in the first thirds, he took the local flannel and, always at medium height, consented to Algarra who, without being a paragon of virtues, allowed himself to be given short series by the two pitons.
The increasingly bland onslaught was losing ground and, once again, Diego’s left sealed a laborious move, which “Volapié” superbly endorsed. Ear.
Urdiales, in his third, could not exhibit his capotero recital in which he did fifth. The third of rods was just a formality, and Víctor left two important pairs. Toast to the public and fidgeting below to start a task that will not remain in the memory.
It was not easy to tame the one from Algarra, with a sticky attack and which became rebranded and protesting. Lacking in rhythm, Urdiales did not finish understanding and, without being coy, he abbreviated leaving what was another superb thrust. Ovation.
Roca Rey, his first, received him gently and vertically. He only received the bump on the breastplate with hardly any bleeding. The start of work was in the media with an open compass, in series tempered by the right, with little adjustment and without much enthusiasm.
Test on the left without much substance and only the boasts between pitons, at the end of the move, motivated an audience devoted to Peru. This effective blow and first ear to his goal.
The uncertain onslaught of his second left Roca with the cape unpublished. The third of varas is justified, without further ado, and the Peruvian stands out for chicuelinas.
After toasting Diego Urdiales, he quoted long and gave length to the sets on the right. He did not find the same coupling on the left and the task faded away, revealing, despite everything, a persevering bull, in front of a bull without dedication. The final arrimon has an effect on the public, which leads him to the front door, despite receiving a notice.
Nor was the Roca Rey cape seen in the sixth. Nothing on the horse, and remarkable were two important pairs, left by Antonio Chacón in the preamble to a task very much in line with Roca Rey. Cadence for the right, softness in the quote to an animal with the right push, which was never forced.
Knowing that the short series had little draft, he soon shortened the distances, cementing the mess between pitons. With the stands already conquered, he let the “Nightingale” get some air, which closed the celebration. It was then that the sixth thrust of the afternoon arrived, effective and precise like the rest. Ear.
Thirteen years have passed since the Arnedo Arena bullring, with José Tomás in the paseíllo, opened its doors and posted the “no tickets” like this Sunday.
Since that March 2010, the cartel, which every businessman wants to dust off, had not gained prominence again. This Sunday, yes.
Since the day before, it was loomed that it would see the light again, and it has happened. Arnedo has breathed bullfighting over the weekend, and the main course was served to close his spring festivities: the head to head Urdiales, Roca Rey, had a pull since its announcement and the foreseeable has been a reality.
