Barcelona, Mar 9 (EFE).- At least three workers have died after being trapped at a depth of 900 meters in a potash mine in Súria (Barcelona) due to a landslide registered this morning in this exploitation, Efe has been informed by the Firefighters and the Generalitat.
Teams from the Iberpotash company that operates the mine and various emergency services on site are beginning rescue work for the trapped people.
Eight ground fire crews have traveled to the scene of the accident, including members of the Special Actions Group (GRAE) and a medicalized helicopter, as well as members of the Mossos, including agents of the Underground Group.
