Seville, (EFE).- The president of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, has explained that the modification of the order of pricing of health concerts has been carried out to “stop the hoax” of the PSOE about health privatization, with “a very clear definition that says that it will only be done exceptionally and always with public guarantees”.
Moreno has told journalists in the corridors of Parliament that “to avoid this hoax that they are trying to spread” the Socialists have wanted to specify it in the order, published in the Official Gazette of the Junta (BOJA), “so that no one has any doubts ”.
The head of the regional Executive has thus referred to the modification of the pricing order for agreements and concerts with public and private entities to provide health care -among them primary care-, which clarifies that private provision will only be used in ” conjunctural periods of greater demand or in situations of health emergencies”.
“No one is going to privatize anything”
“What we have done is stop a hoax, given that we are 80 days away from an election and what the PSOE is looking for is the usual thing, to say that we are privatizing healthcare,” he insisted.
He has guaranteed that “nobody is going to privatize anything”, that public health is included in the Statute of Autonomy and as long as he is president “nobody is going to pay a penny for public health”.
Moreno has called on the general secretary of the PSOE-A, Juan Espadas, to be “rigor” because “despair cannot lead to lies” about health privatization, despite “the electoral situation they are experiencing”, the “nerves logical” for losing the Andalusian Government and for the “situations of irregularities that are being experienced”, or “the problems” of the “only yes is yes” law.
He has affirmed that what is done with the health order is to set some rates to prevent the public company from “charging you whatever you want”, something that has been done “always” and that the PSOE put into practice during its previous governments. EFE
