Valladolid (EFE).- The people of Castile and Leon are the ones who separate the least, specifically with a rate of 158.4 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2022, compared to the 200.9 requests for marriage dissolution last year in the autonomous community, according to the data published this Monday by the General Council of the Judiciary.
The marital dissolution claims registered in the judicial bodies during 2022 were 95,193, 2.3% less than in 2021, of which 3,774 were filed in Castilla y León, 2.5 percent less than the 3,869 in 2021, of according to the CGPJ data collected by EFE.
In the evolution between 2022 and 2021, the demands for dissolution decreased in all except Asturias (2.8), Galicia (1.6), La Rioja (1.1) and the Canary Islands (0.4), with decreases of 4.4 percent in the Valencian Community, 3.8 in Murcia and 3.5 in Extremadura.

Castilla y León closed 2022 with the lowest rate of dissolutions per 100,000 inhabitants, with those 158.4 demands, followed by the Basque Country, with 165.8; and Extremadura, with 177.6.
The highest number of dissolution claims per 100,000 inhabitants occurred in the Canary Islands in 2022, with 248.4; Valencian Community, with 228.2; Balearic Islands, with 222.7; Murcia, with 216.8; Andalusia, with 212.4; Catalonia, with 203.6, and Asturias, with 203.1, territories that exceed the national average, which was 200.9 claims per 100,000 inhabitants.
During 2022, all types of requests for modification of measures also decreased.
Thus, the demands for modification of non-consensual marriage measures, of which 32,247 were filed, decreased by 0.3% in relation to those registered in 2021; with 1,358 in Castilla y León, -6.7 percent less than the previous year.
Those for the modification of agreed measures, which totaled 12,686, decreased by 2.1 percent in the national group, with 505 in Castilla y León, -0.2 percent less than in 2021.
Those of consensual custody and maintenance of non-marital children, 22,077, decreased by 8.1 percent, with 647 in Castilla y León, -18.5 percent less than in 2021.
And those not agreed, 26,466, showed a decrease of 0.3 percent, with 765 in Castilla y León, a -11.4 percent decrease compared to the 863 a year earlier. EFE
