Oviedo (EFE).- Asturias has registered this Wednesday minimum temperatures of up to 7.7 degrees below zero, coinciding with a yellow warning due to cold, according to the records of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
The lowest temperature, registered in the Port of Leitariegos, has been -7.7 degrees, followed by -7.3 degrees in Degaña; -7.2 in Pajares; -2.3 in San Antolín de Ibias, and -2.1 in Pola de Somiedo.
The lowest temperatures throughout the country have been recorded in Cap de Vaquèira (Lleida) and Formigal (Huesca), with -12 degrees; -11.4 in Molina de Aragón (Guadalajara), and -11.3 in La Covatilla (Salamanca).
The cold warning affects the Southwest, the Cordillera and the Picos de Europa and will be in force until 10:00 a.m. today to be activated again at dawn. EFE
