Madrid (EFE).- Only 32% of LGTBI+ people openly show their sexual orientation or gender identity at work, 20% hide it completely and 48% reflect it selectively.
These are data from the Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union (FRA), which have been released at the II Congress of Business and Human Rights held in Madrid, as reported this Friday by the State Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Trans, Bisexual, Intersex (Felgtbi).
Another of the data revealed during the Congress is that LGTBI+ people have 7% less chances of finding a job, an average income 4% lower than the rest of the population and 11% less likely to hold management positions, according to data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The Felgtbi has organized this congress with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the collaboration of the ONCE Foundation and Corresponsables, to generate a forum for dialogue on the social needs of the collective.
