Madrid (EFE) several process documents and has corrected that error.
In an order dated February 9 and now known, magistrate Juan José Escalonilla refers to the brief presented by one of those investigated in the case, the former leader of Podemos Juan Manuel del Olmo, in which he warned that in various resolutions regarding In the Neurona case, the name of Pablo Iglesias appeared at the top, where those investigated appear, when he is not in this case, and has not been.
“Pablo Iglesias Turrión not being part of the procedure and having been improperly included in the heading of the resolutions, proceed to correct said point,” says the judge.
The investigating magistrate of the Neurona case did open three new proceedings on Podemos in March 2021, different from the main case, which he sent to other courts to investigate, and one of them referred to a possible irregular collection of legal costs for Part of Pablo Iglesias.
This case fell to the Investigating Court number 45 of the capital and was filed when the judge understood that there was no evidence of a crime.
In the ruling in which the judge corrects this error, the magistrate also stresses, as he already made clear last summer, that he will not extend the period for investigation of this case, denying a request from Vox in this regard.
At this time, only one procedure is pending in this case, which is the preparation of a report on the costs of the work that Neurona did for Podemos in the 2019 elections, which several companies have refused to carry out.
The other diligence that was missing until a few days ago is the Police report on the emails from the co-founder of Podemos Juan Carlos Monedero regarding a possible false invoice with the Neurona consultancy.
But this diligence was completed last week, when the Central Cybercrime Unit verified in a report sent to the court that the emails that Monedero exchanged with Neurona are authentic, after which this investigated person asked the judge to file the case against him, since after three years it has not been proven that he committed a crime.
