Madrid (EFE).- Twelve communities have activated the yellow or orange warning this Friday for minimum night temperatures that will drop to 10 degrees below zero or for strong maritime storms, reports the Meteorological Agency (Aemet) on its website.
Andalusia has activated the orange alert (significant risk) due to strong gusts of wind or adverse coastal phenomena in the provinces of Granada, Málaga, Almería and Cádiz due to easterly winds of 62 to 74 km/h (force 8), temporarily 75 at 88 km/h (force 9) starting at dawn and by waves of 4 to 5 meters.
The autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla also continue in orange due to the easterly wind of 62 to 74 km/h (force 8) and combined sea from the east with waves between 4-5 meters.
Regarding the cold, Aragon has an orange warning in the Pyrenees for values that will register up to 10 degrees below zero; in the rest of the community there is a yellow alert (risk) due to lows that will oscillate between 4 and 8 degrees below zero.
Catalonia maintains the orange level in the Pyrenees and in the Aran Valley, where the thermometers will drop to 10 degrees below zero.
