Seville, (EFE).- Thousands of people – almost 50,000, according to the Government Delegation in Andalusia-, have walked this Wednesday the streets of the capitals and main cities of Andalusia to vindicate the feminism movement on the occasion of Women’s Day in unit actions in all provinces except Seville, Granada and Almería.
In Seville, there have been 10,000 participants, a large part of them in the alternative demonstration to the one called by the classic feminist movement, which has departed at 6:30 p.m. from the Seville Tower to go to the Plaza de San Francisco, next to the City Hall.
The Unitary Feminist Assembly of Seville (ASFU) and CGT had called this demonstration under the slogan “Feminist rebellion: for me, for you, for all, for the planet”, together with a series of feminist and citizen associations.
In one part of the demonstration, held in a festive atmosphere, there were mothers with strollers with babies behind a banner that read “Maternity is a political act.”
“For the rights of women, not one step back” is the motto of the demonstration called in Seville by the associations integrated into the Feminist Movement and which started at half past seven in the afternoon from the doors of the City Hall and which is scheduled to end on the Paseo de la Alameda de Hércules.

In Córdoba, more than 3,500 people, according to the Local Police, have participated in a joint demonstration that has paraded through the main streets of the center of the capital to defend “equality” and women’s rights and in which they have seen reflected all sensibilities.

Without any type of incident, the demonstrators have displayed banners and posters alluding to the wage gap, glass ceilings and, of course, sexist violence, in a march that has run along the Paseo de la Victoria until reaching the Plaza of the Corridor

In Malaga, some 7,000 people, according to the Government Sub-delegation, have demonstrated for the center under the slogan “Women’s rights are human rights. Fed up with sexist violence”.
The march, convened by the 8M Málaga Coordinator and seconded by other associations and unions, brings together women of all ages and takes place without incident in a protest atmosphere, where banners such as “Only yes is yes”, “Fed up with sexist and fascist justice” or “We don’t want allies, we need deserters from the patriarchy”.
Almost two thousand people have participated in the march called in Cádiz by the 8-M commission of the Coordinator of Feminist Collectives of the province, which brings together various associations and groups in the province, according to data provided by the Government Sub-delegation.

In Huelva, some 4,500 people, according to the National Police, have participated in a demonstration that under the motto “Together we are stronger” has traveled different streets of the city until ending in the Plaza de las Monjas.
The organizing group, the Feminist Movement of Huelva, has stressed that “without this long-term joint work and shared struggles, we would not be here today”, which is why they have taken advantage of the closing of the demonstration to claim and value the efforts of all feminists who “day by day from where they can and want to work for the memory of those who are no longer there and a dignified future for those who come”.
As usual, in Almería there have been two demonstrations that have started in parallel around 7:30 p.m., those organized by the Platform for Feminist Action of Almería and by the coordinator of Feminist Collectives of Almería, initially seconded by some 700 people.

More than 2,200 people, according to the National Police, have participated in the Jaén demonstration called by the 8M Jaén Feminist Collective and the Jaén Local Commission for Equality and Against Violence on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
