Arriaga, in a statement, affirms that he hopes to have the support of his party’s local assembly to be able to carry out an “ambitious work project, recovering the brightness of the capital of Tenerife”
He affirms that, as he did to lead the lists for the Cabildo de Tenerife in the current term, he will submit to the will of the affiliates because, “I believe in the internal democracy of the parties and, without a doubt, the popular designation is the best of the options and the best definition of a liberal party».
He adds that the objective that leads him to apply is the desire to once again turn Santa Cruz de Tenerife “into the great capital of the Canary Islands. A condition that we have lost due to the lack of leadership and drive of those who have governed us in the last 45 years.
Arriaga indicates that there are no magic formulas to recover leadership, “just work, work and work.” EFE
