L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), (EFE).- The Sumar candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, has promised this Thursday to reach an agreement with the Catalans “once and for all” and when that agreement is reached “of course the Catalans are going to vote: this is what democracy is about”.
With this promise of dialogue with Catalonia, the leader of Sumar has closed one of the most massive events of her Sumar campaign, with almost 3,000 attendees, which has been held in the La Farga civic space, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, a traditional socialist stronghold in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
He has addressed all those undecided who, three days before the elections, are not clear on which ballot to choose so that they concentrate their vote on the coalition he leads because with a strong Sumar, he has said, “we are placing Vox in the opposition” to prevent them from “burning down” Catalonia.
“We are not going to allow anyone to set Catalonia on fire again,” Díaz warned and sparked the general enthusiasm of the hundreds of people who filled this auditorium.
