Madrid (EFE).- “Vacaciones de verano”, the new family comedy by Santiago Segura, stands out on a billboard with the weekly premieres brought forward to Thursday. The film shares its premiere, among others, with “I am loving you madly”, where a mother from the seventies must accept her son’s militancy for LGTBI rights.
After losing their jobs, two divorced parents, Óscar (Leo Harlem) and Félix (Santiago Segura), accept a job as children’s entertainers in a luxury hotel where they must hide their children because they cannot combine work with parenthood, giving rise to to catastrophic situations that will unleash comedy scenes for the whole family.
The film, co-written by Marta González de Vega and Santiago Segura (“Padre no hay más que uno” and “A todo tren”) and directed and produced by Segura, features performances by Patricia Conde, Cristina Gallego and González de Vega, in addition to a children’s cast in which Sirena Segura, Javier García and Hugo Simón will repeat with the director and Daniela Pintado will debut.
“I’m loving you madly” portrays the LGTBI movement in the 70s
Directed by Alejandro Marín (“Maricón Perdido”), Ana Wagener will play Reme, a mother from Seville in 1977 who must accept that her son Miguel (Omar Banana) fulfills his dream of being an artist and sings on television at the same time who discovers that his son’s new friends make up the Andalusian LGTBI movement, gestated within the Church.
The cast will be completed by a cast in which the participation of Alba Flores, Carmen Orellana or La Dani will stand out.
