Madrid (EFE).- Real Madrid announced this Friday the renewal of Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos for four more seasons, until June 30, 2027.
Ceballos signed for the white team in the summer of 2017, after being proclaimed champion of Europe under-19 with Spain, coming from Betis, and in 2019 he went on loan for two seasons to English Arsenal in search of prominence.
He returned to Real Madrid in 2021 and only played 338 minutes that season, as he entered the preseason with a serious ankle injury suffered in the first game of the Tokyo Olympics.
However, in the summer of 2022 the Italian Carlo Ancelotti convinced him to stay one more season at Real Madrid and fulfill his remaining contract, promising him a leading role that he finally had in 2023.

Ceballos has played 46 games in which he has participated in 1939 minutes, his highest figure at Real Madrid.
An important presence in the team, despite not being the undisputed starter, which has made him opt for extending his contract with the white team for the next four seasons.
Thus, Ceballos could play eight seasons at Real Madrid, a club with which he has won 11 titles: 2 Champions Leagues, 3 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups. .
After his renewal, Ceballos joins the list of midfielders confirmed at Real Madrid for the next season made up of the German Toni Kroos -renewed for one more season on Thursday-, the Uruguayan Federico Valverde, the French Aurelien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga and the English Jude Bellingham, recently signed from Borussia Dortmund in exchange for 100 million euros plus 30% in variables.
The continuity of the Croatian Luka Modric, who ends his contract with Real Madrid on June 30 and his renewal for one more season has not yet been made official, has yet to be confirmed on this list.
