kyiv (EFE).- At least three people died and another seven were injured by the impact of a Russian missile against a warehouse in Odessa.
According to a statement from the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Russian forces launched up to 4 Kalibr cruise missiles.
The attack caused destruction in an area of one thousand square meters and caused a fire in an area of 400 meters.
In addition to the warehouse, the missile caused damage to a business center, an educational institution, a residential complex, and to infrastructure in the food sector and shops.
More victims in the rubble
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has published several photos of firefighters putting out the fire in the warehouse of the destroyed and burned trading company.
The authorities do not rule out that there are more victims among the rubble of the infrastructure destroyed by the attack. The emergency services continue working on the rescue efforts.
The Ukrainian Air Force has reported that three of the four cruise missiles launched by Russia last night against Odessa were shot down, while a third hit civilian infrastructure.
Downed missiles sometimes cause damage as debris falls on homes, vehicles, or infrastructure.
