Las Palmas De Gran Canaria (EFE) , Angel Victor Torres.
This has been predicted in the central campaign event of the PSOE in Tenerife, held in the Plaza San Sebastián de Adeje, in which, in addition to him, the socialist candidates for mayor of that southern municipality, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, have intervened. to the Parliament for this island, Nira Fierro, and to the Presidency of the Tenerife Cabildo, who has been supported by the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Héctor Gómez.
In this festive meeting, Torres has warned that in these elections “the risk is to go back”, hence he has considered that if the PSOE does not manage to consolidate all the progress made in this legislature “we will return to propaganda, set phrases and attacks on the Government of Spain to try to win votes”.
For the Canarian president, the socialist victory “is for justice” and “the people” of the islands deserve it, for which this party is willing “to win the present and the future.”
The Tenerife Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Héctor Gómez, who has shown himself to be “proud to represent the Canary Islands in the Council of Ministers”, has stressed that next Sunday “we are at stake”, for which reason he has estimated that “or We bet on continuing with the recovery, or we will do it because of the cuts, adjustments and blockades.
Gómez has expressed “optimism” with a view to the next appointment with the polls, predicting that “social democracy is going to defeat those who try to break the rules of the game and those who understand that the public is there to enhance the private.”
The candidate for Parliament for Tenerife Nira Fierro has asked “the force of the south” of this island, which, as she has said, has made Pedro Martín president of the Cabildo and Héctor Gómez minister, the maximum mobilization on 28M so that the PSOE ” can continue transforming the Canary Islands”.
In Fierro’s opinion, this week the question that must be asked to the residents is if they want to continue advancing, for which they have to vote for the PSOE, or if they want to go back, to lead the bad data in Spain.
Along the same lines, Ángel Víctor Torres has manifested himself, who has asked the canaries to go vote and “be fair” by doing so in favor of the PSOE, the party “that has taken into account those who have had the worst time in these four years so difficult” and that aspires to obtain more votes than those it achieved in 2019.
The socialist candidate for re-election as president of the Tenerife Cabildo, Pedro Martín, has defended his management, which he has differentiated from that of CC by emphasizing that this institution has managed these four years distributing resources according to the needs of the island , and not of the color or sympathies of its owner.
Martín has alluded to the “solutions” that the PSOE has promoted to the traffic problems in the south of Tenerife and has ensured that the work on the Las Chafiras highway will end this year, thanks to the involvement shown by the General Director of Infrastructure Road of the regional Executive, the socialist adejero José Luis Delgado, “who thinks big”, has said, and Torres’s sensitivity to the problems of this island, an attitude that has differentiated from the attempts of CC “to divide the north and the south”.
Pedro Martín has promised that the works on the hospital in the south of Tenerife, which have 40 million in the current regional budgets, will be finished in the next legislature if the PSOE continues to lead the Cabildo, which will mean that this area of the island counts with dialysis, chemotherapy, pediatric emergencies and ICU services.
The PSOE candidate for re-election as mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, congratulated himself on being able to celebrate the values represented by the Socialists at this Sunday’s event, estimating that “they are not consolidated, but at risk”, time that he has admitted that Ángel Víctor Torres, whom he did not support at first, “has captivated him” for his work and closeness to the problems of this municipality and the Canary Islands as a whole.
Rodríguez Fraga has opted to champion the tourism leadership of Adeje and the Canary Islands “without complexes” and has urged his party, which he has described as “the tool of the people who come to distribute wealth”, to create it from this sector “with intelligence and sustainability.
The mayor of Adeje has boasted that this municipality has “full employment”, registering 10% unemployment, and has said that the only “paradise” he wants in the Canary Islands is the one that gives young people opportunities and guarantees them health, employment and decent housing, for which he has urged Pedro Martín to have the Cabildo approve “on Tuesday” the film studies planned in Fañabé, which will promote a “viable” economic diversification that will mean employment and wealth, he has asserted.
