Madrid (EFE).- The labor market closed 2022 with 20.46 million employed people, 278,900 more than at the beginning of the year, with a negative fourth quarter in which employment fell by 81,900, the largest decrease for this period since 2013.
According to the Active Population Survey (EPA), published this Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE), the number of unemployed also rose this quarter by 43,800 people compared to the previous one, once again exceeding the barrier of 3 million unemployed.
