Madrid (EFE).- Repsol obtained a net profit of 1,112 million euros between January and March, 20.1% less than in the same period of the previous year, coinciding with a quarter in which crude oil prices fell, from average, 20% year-on-year.
However, the adjusted result, which specifically measures the operation of the businesses, reached 1,891 million euros, that is, 78.4% more than the 1,060 million registered a year earlier, as reported on Thursday by the company to the National Stock Market Commission (CNMV).
All Repsol’s business areas achieved positive results, and in the cases of Customer, Industrial and Low-carbon Generation, they exceeded those obtained in the same period of 2022, although Exploration and Production reflected in its figure the significant decrease in the prices of hydrocarbons.
